As a fourth generation acupuncturist, I believe that the first acupuncture visit is a critical part of the healing process. When you visit me for your initial acupuncture appointment, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your health concerns with me.
During your first visit, I will take the time to get to know you and your health history. I will ask you questions about your symptoms, lifestyle, and stress levels, and will examine your tongue and pulse to help diagnose any underlying health issues.
Based on my findings, I will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Using thin, sterile needles, I will target specific acupuncture points on your body to stimulate the flow of energy and promote healing.
While you may feel a slight pinch or prick as the needles are inserted, acupuncture is generally not painful, and many people find it to be deeply relaxing. After the needles are in place, I will give you time to rest and relax, allowing your body to fully benefit from the treatment.
At the end of the session, we will discuss any sensations or changes you experienced during the treatment, and I may recommend additional treatments based on your response to the first session. With regular acupuncture treatments, many of my patients experience a reduction in pain and other symptoms, as well as improved overall health and wellness.
I am passionate about helping my patients achieve their health goals through acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and I look forward to working with you to create a personalized treatment plan that supports your unique needs and goals.
